SGN Launched the Jet / Dogfighting game to the app Store in early june. They’ve sold a $1 million in 6 weeks.
Read that this morning- it posted to TechCrunch last week. The initial responses to the game were positive during the pre-release test drives of Dog Fight by Techcrunch and continues to enjoy rave reviews. Despite the $60,000 in daily sales this game is not the top earner in the appstore!
Stop by the Social Gaming Network to read more about FAST and check out some of their other titles.
I enjoyed playing radial 50( http://radial50.com/ ) for the iPhone. Clean interface and since I like rubbing the screen anyway it was a good excuse to do so. It’s Brick-Breaker with new twist. Wow that was an awful pun. By sliding your finger up and down on the screen you move the uhhh…puck around the perimeter of the circle knocking blocks out. It’s a bit hypnotic and that’s part of the fun! About to hand it off to MJ to keep him busy for at least an hour!
When I first played Bedeviled I had no idea what I was doing…because “it fails to follow directions and it loses at the game”. Luckily I do watch videos and I picked up the video above. This explained why the ball that was moving across the screen appeared to be teleporting. Big bright light over geek’s head- Oh…. The goal of the game is to slide the squares around so that the ball is NOT teleporting but moving from block to block in the normal fashion in the grid. With that realization went 2 days of my weekend. I then handed it off to my wife. I guess watching my wife play a game while she gives me the Heisman every time I lean forward thinking I’m reaching for the iPod Touch kinda counts as quality time. Kinda… Stop by the AppStore to check it out. Stop by the Bedeviled homesite
